This is the dress i am going to
make. The decorated skirts is going to be embroidered. |

The yellow silk
taffeta is the same as the dress is going to be made from
|
The pattern draft of
the pannier worn under Queen Louisa Ulrikas Coronation Gown. |
|

Closeup of one of
the sides. The hoop is open in the top at each side of the hoop.
|

The shape is very
nice i think.
|

It only needs to
have the gathered frill sewn to the bottom.
|
|

I made the pattern
for the embroidery of the overskirts front pannels. I also sellected the
collours of embroidery silk i am going to
use. The embroidered pannels
are going to be on ivory silk taffeta.
|
The pattern is
transferred to the 2 pieces for the edge of the overskirt of the dress. |
|

I have chosen to
make the flowers with Rosetta Stitches + french
knots. Its a good way to
make flowers in miniature.
|
From the back. It
looks like the weddingdress in the moovie Marie Antoinette.
|

It actually took me
6 hours to cut out the pinked trim and sew all the gathers on by hand of
the right side of the overskirt.
