The queens lady in waiting.

This is the dress i am going to make. The decorated skirts is going to be embroidered.

The yellow silk taffeta is the same as the dress is going to be made from

The pattern draft of the pannier worn under Queen Louisa Ulrikas Coronation Gown.

Closeup of one of the sides. The hoop is open in the top at each side of the hoop.

The shape is very nice i think.

It only needs to have the gathered frill sewn to the bottom.

I made the pattern for the embroidery of the overskirts front pannels. I also sellected the collours of embroidery silk i am going to use. The embroidered pannels are going to be on ivory silk taffeta.

The pattern is transferred to the 2 pieces for the edge of the overskirt of the dress.

I have chosen to make the flowers with Rosetta Stitches + french knots. Its a good way to make flowers in miniature.

From the back. It looks like the weddingdress in the moovie Marie Antoinette.

It actually took me 6 hours to cut out the pinked trim and sew all the gathers on by hand of the right side of the overskirt.

I also made the sleave ruffles and the center front trimming on top of the laced closing in the front bodice.
